D&AD Monotype: Buy back the Amazon

The Brief: Take a cause you believe in and use the power of type to make a difference. Use typography to help people believe in your cause and its purpose; to motivate and inspire people, in a relevant way, to your cause; and above all, to make an impact. The Solution: The chosen cause I selected for this project was based around saving the Amazon rainforest. I wanted to create a visual campaign which helped to inform the public about issues the Amazon is facing due to deforestation and its side effects. As well as presenting a possible solution by buying back the Amazon one acre at a time using informative posters, hand out booklets and an illustrated stop motion animation gif.
